East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) has three children’s hospice care services based at Quidenham in Norfolk, Ipswich in Suffolk and Milton in Cambridgeshire.

About EACH

EACH is a registered charity that relies on public support for approximately 72% of their required income of around £5.8 million a year – this amounts to nearly £11,500 a day from voluntary donations.

EACH’s three multi-disciplinary care teams help children with life-threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs, and their families, with the emotional and physical challenges they face, helping them to make the most of life. They welcome the whole family for a short break together or time to themselves in a home-from-home environment or in the comfort of their own home. They offer a diverse range of services including: short break care, specialist play, music therapy, care at end of life, telephone support, practical help and bereavement support for all family members, including siblings and grandparents.

Some of the children EACH care for may only have a very short time to live; others may reach early adulthood; but EACH’s aim is always the same – to enhance their quality of life and support their family.

As a local organisation, Swains Plc is proud to support EACH, and have created the “more than a phone line” campaign to raise valuable funding on an ongoing basis. The aim of the campaign is designed to reduce business communication costs and enable them to contribute to EACH at the same time.

How does it work?

EACH supporters will receive a free communications audit to identify potential cost savings and efficiencies. By transferring calls, lines and data services onto the specially created EACH tariff, customers will typically reduce their costs by 40%. All services transferred will remain on the BT Networks to retain the highest quality.

Swains will then donate 10% of the qualifying part of the customer’s invoice value to EACH every month, providing ongoing funding for the duration of the contract.
